New for Fall 2009!!!

Crofton will be participating in the newly formed county volleyball league. Teams will be participating from Crofton, GORC, Davidsonville, Bowie, and SOTI. We are excited that the county is now recognizing volleyball as a fall sport!



Age Groups

The age groups will be 10 and under, 12 and under, and 14 and under. Players will be divided into teams based on their age as of 9/1/2009.



Coaches

We will need parents to volunteer to coach the teams. If no parents volunteer, there will be no teams this year.



Parent Coach Clinic

There will be an instructional clinic for all parents volunteering to coach that will be run by Severna Park Varsity coach, Jamie Leventry. The date and time will be announced shortly (end of August).



Practice days

All practices will take place at Crofton Elementary school and the weekdays and times will be announced shortly.



Game days

Games will be held on Sunday afternoons and run for 7 weeks. Facilities are being organized, but will most likely be at Severna Park High School. First game will be September 13.



End of Season Tournament

An end-of-season tournament will most likely be held on November 1, location to be determined.
