U9 Tryouts/Placements Boys Boys born between August 1 1999 and July 31 2000 are invited to attend soccer tryouts for placements onto any one of Crofton's premier teams. The U9 age group has many levels of play. They are: NCSL(Travel), BBSL(Travel) and AAYSL(County). The tryouts/placements will be held on the rear fields at Bell Branch Park on the following dates: June 4th from 6-8pm, June 9th from 6-8pm, June 25th from 6-8pm and July 2nd from 6-8pm. U10 Tryouts Boys Crofton Athletic Council (CAC) Soccer is seeking motivated players born on or after 8/1/98 but before 7/31/99 who are interested in playing for the U10 Boys’ Select travel team in the National Capital Soccer League (NCSL) for the Fall 2008/Spring 2009 season. Tryouts will be held on June 10th and June 11th at 6:30 p.m., and June 7th at 2p.m. at the rear fields of Bell Branch Athletic Complex on Davidsonville Road. NOTE: The June 11th session is a make-up date for the previously scheduled June 4th session that was rained out. Athletes are encouraged to attend more than one tryout session. Children who tryout, but who are not offered a slot on the NCSL team would then be placed on one of the teams that will compete in the Anne Arundel Youth Soccer League (AAYSL). Children playing soccer on either the NCSL or AAYSL team with CAC need to register for soccer at www.croftonsports. com. Playing on the NCSL team is a one-year commitment to play in Fall 2008 and Spring 2009. Some games will require travel outside of AA County. U13 Tryouts Boys For the Fall 2008 season, the Crofton Blast U13 Boys Soccer Team playing in the National Capital Soccer League (NCSL) Division 3 will hold open try outs on the following dates listed below. The Crofton Blast will be playing 11 vs. 11 full field games and is seeking additional players to fill an expanded roster size. Interested players must attend at least one of the first two sessions and then additional sessions if invited back. The team is head coached by USSF National D License coach Bill Quinn. The team is trained by Coerver owner/head trainer Roy Dunshee. The team coaches support kids who want to play multiple sports. The coaches are focused on preparing players to play in high school. For new players, please contact one of the coaches in advance Bill Quinn (bill.quinn6@verizon.net) or Brendan Gaeng (rgaeng@hotmail.com). Must be younger than 13 as of August 1, 2008. U14 Tryouts
Tryouts will be held at Crofton Middle School. (The field is located at the Crofton Middle School off of RT424 or visit www.croftonsports.com/facilities) on the following dates:
Attendance to at least two of the tryout sessions is mandatory in order to get accepted to the team. We provide soccer specific training as well as professional Agility, Speed, and Conditioning development to get the youngsters ready for the high school and hopefully in the future for college level soccer. Our team also attends FUTSAL soccer as well as regular indoor soccer during winter time. U15 Tryouts Boys The Crofton Arsenal boys U15 select soccer team will be holding tryouts on Tue 6/1 6:30-8:00 and Mon 7/7 6:30-8:00 Crofton Middle School. The Arsenal will be playing in the BBSL (Baltimore Beltway Soccer League) for the fall 2008 and spring 2009 season. Optional indoor sessions will be offered over the winter.
