2009/2010 Advertisement/Announcement dated 5/8/2009:

The Crofton Strikers are seeking motivated players born on or after 8/1/97 who are interested in playing for the U12 Girls Select travel team in the CMSSL League for the Fall 2009/Spring 2010 season. Tryouts will be held on Thursday June 4 and Thursday June 11 from 6:00PM-7:30PM at Bell Branch Park on Field D5, the soccer fields at the rear of the park. Girls are encouraged to attend more than one tryout session. Girls who tryout, but are not offered a slot on the Select team would then be placed on one of the teams that will compete in the Anne Arundel Youth Soccer League (AAYSL). Girls playing soccer on either the Select or County team need to register for soccer at www.croftonsports.com . Select teams play in tournaments and parents pay team registration fees. The Crofton Firecats U14 girls soccer team (U-15 in the Fall) is seeking motivated girls born after 8/1/1994 who are interested in playing travel soccer for the Fall 2009/Spring 2010 seasons. The Firecats practice year round and activities include participation in tournaments, indoor/Futsal leagues in the winter, as well as, speed, agility, and strength training. The Firecats will play in the Baltimore Beltway Soccer League (BBSL) this fall. Tryouts will be held on Saturday, 6 June from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM and Wednesdays, 10 and 17 June, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. All tryouts will be held at Bell Branch Park on Field B.
