SUBJECT : CAC Waiver Policy

I. Purpose:

To establish uniformed policies for CAC program participation waivers.

II. Statement of Policy:

1. The Crofton Athletic Council, Inc., was established as a community program and should be so maintained. The current definition of the community within the bylaws, that is, the Crofton Junior High School district, is appropriate and acceptable.

2. Any non-community player who is currently in the program prior to January 1, 1992, is forever grand-fathered into the program.

3. Any player who was a CAC member prior to January 1, 1992, and chooses to move from the Crofton Junior High School district, will forever be grand-fathered into the program if membership in CAC is maintained.

4. Any non-community player who lives outside the Crofton Junior High School district, and who's community doesn't support a program in which the player wishes to participate, may request participating in a Crofton program through board approval. They must pay a reduced family fee, as designated by the Registrar prior to registration, and pay the full registration fee for the sport. This doesn't make the player eligible for any other sport.

5. Any prior waiver policy shall be null and void.

III. DISTRIBUTION

1. Distribution to all Crofton Athletic Council Board Members, Commissioners and Coaches.

2. Publication periodically in the Crofton Athletic Council newsletter.
