SUBJECT: SPORTS PROGRAM EQUIPMENT AND UNIFORM RETURN

I. STATEMENT OF POLICY:

If a member or former member has outstanding equipment and/or uniforms from any CAC sports program, that member can be denied registration in any subsequent sport until the equipment and/or uniforms are turned in to the proper commissioner.

A program commissioner may at his/her discretion charge program participants a deposit for the use of program equipment and/or uniforms. Deposits should be collected and held in the form of a check by the program commissioner or his/her designate; a deposit check may be cashed/deposited by the CAC treasurer only upon a participants failure to return the items for which the deposit is being held; in acceptable condition and in a timely fashion.

Should a deposit check prove nonnegotiable, collection procedures will be decided by the board of directors on a case by case basis.

II. DISTRIBUTION:

Distribution to all Crofton Athletic Council Board Members, Commissioners, and Coaches.

Publication periodically in the Crofton Athletic Council Newsletter.
