ABOUT CAC FOOTBALL:
The CAC Football program is sponsored and
sanctioned by the Anne Arundel County Department of Parks and Recreation via the
Anne Arundel Youth Football Association (AAYFA), (we abide by both) which organized the age and
weight divisions, establishes schedules, and oversees regular season and playoff
competition.
www.AAYFA.org
We emphasize teamwork and sportsmanship first and
foremost, while presenting each individual player with challenges along the
way. We educate the Crofton players about the game of football and are hopeful
that they will learn valuable lessons and gain experiences for their future in
sports, business and life in general.
Most games are played on Saturdays, and
occasionally on Friday night or Sunday afternoon. The team’s practice 3 nights
per week after school begins.

PARENT VOLUNTEER INFORMATION:
Parents are an integral part of the Crofton
Football Program. Obviously with a program of this size, there is much work to
be done. Volunteering to assist our program is a great way to be more
involved with your child's activities. Any and all help is greatly
appreciated! If you would like to volunteer to help with any of the
following activities, please contact football@croftonsports.com:

FUNDRAISING:
There are many costs associated with putting together a first class
organization. Funds that are raised go towards uniforms, equipment,
insurance, field maintenance, officials and to defer the costs for those less
privileged. We graciously request your support to fulfill our goals.
The following are fundraising activities that the program needs your help with:
Concessions:
Concession sales are a large part of the way the football program raises money.
The concession stand is open during every home game at Crofton Park. Each team is responsible for assigning parents to
work the stand at some point during each home game. There will be a committee formed to
oversee schedules, buy food, open and close the stand, etc. Anyone who is
interested in joining this committee, please contact
football@croftonsports.com.
Raffle:
The football organization will be selling raffle tickets again this year.
There will be several Fantastic prizes raffled off during halftime of a home
game during homecoming weekend. The tickets will sell for $5.00 each and
each player will be required to sell 5 tickets.
Homecoming:
Homecoming is a time when we honor our players for all their hard work. It has
traditionally been a fun-filled day for families to come out to the field and cheer on
the players, enjoy concessions, bid on silent auction
items, etc. It is a great opportunity for the program to earn some money while
everyone has a great time. To make the event run smoothly, we need plenty
of parent volunteers. Anyone who is interested in joining the committee,
please contact football@croftonsports.com.
