Registration for the 2009 Flag Football season is OPEN. Activity Fee is $80 ($67 sport fee, $13 county
surcharge)
We intend to have two divisions, 5/6 year old and 7/8 year old. Age cutoff for
7/8 is 09/01/09. Player cannot turn 9 before that date.
WE NEED COACHES!!!
We will only have as many teams as we have coaches. Please contact me as soon
as possible if you are interested in running or co-running a team. Background
Checks for coaches (who have not already had them) are a MUST
before we hit the field.

Mouth Guards are recommended, not required.
3. Fields are to be 50 yards long and from sideline to hash mark wide.
4. Teams are 7 players a side.
Offense will consist of a center, two guards, two ends (which can split out as
receivers), quarterback and running back. Teach and encourage proper blocking
techniques. Holding and chop blocking are not allowed. Passing is allowed.
Defense will consist of four linebackers 5 yards off the line of scrimmage and
three defensive backs 10 yards off. No blitzing. Tackling is not allowed. First
offense gets a warning, second- the player must sit out that series, third- the
player is out for the remainder of the game.
5. Each team will have 3 offensive series of 8 plays each beginning on the 10
yard line. If time allows, a fourth series can be played. This is at the
coaches' discretion. Time for games is 1 hour and 30 minutes.
6. Important to rotate all players thru all positions regardless of skill level.
Our goal as stated above is for the kids to have fun while learning a little bit
about the game.
7. All players must wear flag belts.
8. Flag belts must be worn over the jersey, not underneath. Flags must be
positioned on each hip.
9. A ball carrier will be ruled down once ONE of his/her flags has been removed.
